BurgerLover United States/IN/Griffith [Nov 11, 2008] food is the best, usually made correctly and if its not they will gladly remake it for you.
sometimes i have to wait, 5 minutes at the most, but i dont mind because that means the food is fresh!
when cynical people say the food is stone cold, or the fries are hard as a rock, they probably have no idea what they're talking about. |
jackrabbit66 United States/Florida/Gulf Breeze [Oct 24, 2008] Went to the drive thru around midnight last night to find a note on the menu saying "no tomato lettuce or unions" but I figured I was hungry so I ordered a chicken tender sandwich combo for like $6.00 I'm the only one there so I wasn’t surprised to have to wait a while for the food to cock. After waiting for like 5 minutes I was asked to pull forward or pull forward then come back to the window even though there wasn’t anyone behind me in line. The reason I was told was "the timer is going off and it wont stop until the car moves" apparently if the line isn’t moving within a cretin amount of time a timer goes off or something to let them know they're slow. I didn’t mind this because I'd rather wait a while for fresh food than eat soggy fries and a stale sandwich. After another 3 minutes my food was done and I drove off. Once I got home I discovered my fries were hard as a rock and I suspect they were old fries that had been re-cooked. The sandwich however was ok even though it wasn’t exactly what I would have gotten if they weren’t out of veggies. Over all I was dissatisfied and would not recommend this restaurant. |
Barnaby Sonnenschein United States/Washington/Seattle [Oct 13, 2008] Hadn't been to Burger King for a long, long time. Tried a mushroom swiss burger. Barf-o-rama. Overcooked super salty, dry and chewy beef, super salty, watery, canned, otherwise flavorless mushrooms, super bland but salty cheese, tired dried out bun. Definitely didn't live up to the hype. And there were some dried up crusty onion-substitute things on there, not sure what they were made of, but the word "imitation" comes to mind, along with a tangy but offensive sauce. Good in concept, poor in execution. And I was super hungry too, so you would think I wouldn't be too picky, but I didn't want to finish it. And usually I'm a pretty big eater. Into the trash it went. |

Julian United States/New Jersey/Medford [Aug 24, 2008] While my local restaurant has below horrible service, the food is great when they actually get it right. Always hot fries, and a burger and chicken sandwich is a great on the go meal. Whenever I go to Burger King though, I'm always waiting in line for hours, as it takes so unbelievably long to process orders. And one time, I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger, it had the bacon and the cheese, but not the burger! On top of that, it's a horrible place to work. |
Ariss United States/Florida/Boca Raton [May 12, 2008] Usually the burgers are way better than McDonald's or Wendy's but lately I've been getting sloppily made burgers with mayo and sauce everywhere. I do like the new stuff they've added to the menu recently, but I was not impressed with the Indy burger. |

Heidi United States/WA/Puyallup (river road location) [Apr 06, 2008] I had probably the worst "service" at this location I have ever had!
I went through the drive through on a Saturday morning. I had been there before and remembered that they closed at 10:30am for breakfast. At about 10:20 I pulled into the drive through and waited behind one car. When I pulled up to the ordering box, I started to order breakfast. The girl stated that they were not serving breakfast.... so I ordered food that I really didn't want. We were really looking for breakfast items. When I pulled up to the window, I asked "what time do you stop serving breakfast'?" The girl at the window said "10:30" I looked at my cell phone, it was 10:27. I told her that my cell automatically checks universal time, and it wasn't 10:30 yet. She stared at me and simply said "It's 10:30". Now I am not dumb, and I can't believe that this employee would represent a company in such a condescending and rude manner! If she had said "We stopped serving breakfast a little early" or "we are out of breakfast items" or something along those lines, no problem. I really don't complain too often! But I could not believe that when I told her that it was not 10:30am yet she blankly stared at me and her only explanation was "it is 10:30". You know.. I would have even left it at that, but the receipt she handed me after the food... the VERY LAST THING SHE DID before I drove away... had the time of 10:27am printed right on it!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is an outrageous lack of any concern for customer experience. I find that the food quality of this location is very spotty. I really like Burger King! When I am in Gig Harbor, I go to their establishment and they are not only fast, friendly and courteous, but the food is good. This river road location has frequently given us the wrong order, or food that wasn't warm all the way through right from the window. Better steer clear of this location!!!!! |
nyunyuelf United States/Florida/Panama City [Mar 28, 2008] Let me tell you, it's definately better than McDonald's...I just wish they still carried the Spicy Tendercrisp Sandwich...never had a problem with Burger King, the one on Tyndall Pkway, anyways.. |
