Joe United States/Colorado/Denver [Aug 01, 2008] Aug. 1st, 08 went to the Sonic on Broadway close to Englewood.Waited 22 minutes to place a drive thru order so I finally pulled up to the window. A teenage girl gave me a funny look and told me that they only had one person on the head set and I would have to wait. This was during their drink special and its 100 degres out. Anothe 12 minutes and she told me I ahd to pull around and re-order and told the cars behind me the same thing. So I pulled around and waited another 15 minutes...pulled to the front again and they were all laughing. Nice way to run a business.....should have kicked this kids ass!!!!! |
melissa United States/tx/spring branch/houston [Jul 09, 2008] Every time i go to this certain sonic i have the worse service ever. Nothing but childish rude teenagers work there. Are you serious! I had ordered 2 fountain drinks n id say um prob about 2 other cars there (not waiting but eating their food inside their car) took them 15min to bring out my drinks!! I would have left but i stayed to find out why it took so long for just two drinks that u dont even have to mix! There was 4 employers working that day...the girl comes out with my drinks n doesnt even apologize for the long wait. I come back the next day n same thing!!! The manager was on his cell phone inside and the other workers goofing off and not taking care of the customers like they should have. The food is not so great eiher. Their fries sometimes are stale and they always mess up my order everytime i go. So now i just drive a little more further to anothe sonic where the service is a whole lot better. |
H. Harrison United States/Arkansas/Maumelle [Jul 05, 2008] The last two times I've been to this location, the employees have always been rude to my husband and I. The first time I've really had an issue was a few weeks ago, one of the employees cut us off mid-way thru our order, and refused to answer when we buzzed. Another employee had to answer and deliver our food.
The second time, my husband went through the drive-thru and ordered a coney with mayonaise and the employee (female) replies with a snarky remark, "You want mayo on your schlong?", (haha. Very funny.) then refused to look at him when she was handing him his food and almost dropped it in the drive-way. I've worked fast food for 4 years and I have never talked to a customer like that! Especially a male customer. Needless to say, I'm angry over this and probably will not go back to this location no matter how close it is to my home. |
DayCare Worker United States/Ohio/Pickerington [Jul 01, 2008] We took the daycare kids to sonic yesterday to get the .99 cent shakes. The manager came out and offered to help us and then looked around at all the children. We had 20 of them. We told him we wanted the shakes and he was like, "well, they aren't .99 cents anymore." When in fact there was still a sign up and what sale ends the day before the end of the month? It had to due with the fact they did not want us there because they were afraid we would chase people away. We explained we came last night (which is true) and we scoped out the area to make sure we had room for the children and asked a waitress if the sale would still be there and she said yes. We told the manager we would just call corporate offices. He got angry and went inside. We were getting ready to leave and he came back out and explained that his GM allowed the .99 cent shakes for us. Interesting. As we were eating someone came out and took the sign down. I will NEVER give this sonic any business again and I will make sure that all 20 of the children's parents know what happened. Not only was it bad service but it was disrespectful. |
Sue United States/Alabama/Ozark [Jun 15, 2008] I went to Sonic for the second and last time. First I had to repeat my order three times because the guy said he was new. Before telling me the money amount of my order he should have read it back to me, he didn't I had to ask. Did he have the order correct, NO. When I got my order of two sandwiches and two fries the bread was so soggy I couldn't hold the sandwich. Suppose to have bacon, there was none. One sandwich was to have cheese and the second sandwich was to have none, no cheese on either. Our fries were loaded with salt I shivered when I tried to eat them.
The menu is pathic other than a yuky looking hotdog...there are two choices, nasty tasting hamburg or chicken.
The gal that brought me my order was very nice. Only positive thing I can say. |

Suzie United States/Virginia/Harrisinburg [May 20, 2008] Build one in Harrisonburg or close by.....heard food was great!!!!!!! |
Ray Moody United States/Alabama/Theodore [May 01, 2008] The workers are to worried about there boyfriends and girlfriends outside, non workers going in and out of the store, orders are 75% wrong or over cooked. I have been a loyal customer ever since sonic opened and this is the worst store i have seen. |
regina miller United States/florida/Panama City [Apr 20, 2008] sonic rock they have the best food |
Barb United States/kansas/clay center [Apr 14, 2008] I have worked at this sonic and I think that they really strive hard to make the best possible service they can for the public. I wished that they would have some tables for the inside eating as I have heard older people say they would eat there if they could go in and sit down to eat. It is also hard when you have young children to eat in the car. This sonic also goes out of the way to please the town people with orders during the day delivered to the local hospital for employees there to have treats on their break. There are other businesses that they will fix orders for lunches or special events for the schools. This is a very caring and dedicated Sonic for the people here. We have seen a Hardees and a Burger King come and go here because it did not go over in this town. Now they are bringing in a Wendy's to fill up this building. DON'T WORRY SONIC ---THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FILL YOUR SHOES!!! Just keep on doing what you are doing cause no one will be able to compete with you. So for all of you that have had a bad experience with a sonic please do not rate all of the others because the business is what you put into it to make it a sucess. GO SONIC IN CLAY CENTER, KANSAS1 |
Nikki United States/Ohio/Columbus [Apr 11, 2008] I have just taken my daughter to our local sonic and I am very unhappy with the quality of food and service. I did not have to wait for a long time to receive the food but the quality was less than poor. My daughter is 8 and she didn't like it as well, even the slush drink that they advertise so frequently was inadequate. I am upset because I feel as if I had wasted $15, we threw it in the trash. Napkins were not even given at the time of food delivery which when did that become the new thing. I know to think green and save the trees but I think that may have been taen too far. I am sure this will be my last visit!!!! |
myrchandize United States/New York/Bronx [Mar 13, 2008] I love Sonic restauraunts, however they aren't as easily accessible since I've moved from Albuquerque New Mexico to the Bronx in New York City. I live in the bronx and work in queens. I would like to have a Sonic closer to where I live instead of having to wait until I have to travel somewhere to find one, Sonic is an excellent restauraunt whether I want to sit and eat or take it and go. I would like to have one either in my neighborhood, or at least closer so I can get to it. |
